Goaties are home!!!!

Our goat babies are home!!!!
(4-4-14)

It's a happy day on Mohr Living Farms! Our kids have come home and we couldn't be happier! We got our babies from an amazing breeder Liz with "Pure of hearts farm." Not only did she let us have 2 of her babies, she took the time to teach me so much and sent us home with lots of goatie treats. Liz was just amazing, friendly and helpful!

Thomas and his "GrandGoatPA"
 (aka my dad)
On the way home Thomas cried and cried, I rolled the window down and out he went!! I tried to roll them back up and he woke right back up and started crying so windows down it was!

J named both our goats before we brought them home Thomas and Clarabel and as soon as he saw them he knew his goats had made it home! He was so excited and happy, It was a great surprise and a sweet memory I will always remember. Farmer G acted as if they had always been home, she has no fear and is a true farm princess.

Our first trip to the goat farm (3-26-14)

I just love goats (If you missed that lol)! I've been reading, researching
"CLARABEL ARIEL"
stocking youtube goat videos. I've been on every local goat breeding farm's website or blog, check craigslist daily for new babies for sale.
I found a local farm (Pure of hearts farm) the name says it all. Liz (farm owner) was so nice and welcoming, made us feel right at home.

"THOMAS MATAI"

This whole time I have been planing for little tiny goats. I figure the younger I get them the more socialized they would be with us. Lucky for me Pure of Hearts farm is all about education, allowing kids (and adults) to come to their farm and learn all about farm life... its pretty awesome. So these goats are used to attention and kids already. Oh they are so sweet, I miss them. We have to add the finishing touches to their area and will pick them up next week! Can't wait!!!!

We went back and forth with new names for our babies. The cousins came up with sparkles & snot lol! Which we got a kick out of it but at the end of the day I couldn't picture calling my baby snot :) J ended up naming them Thomas and Clarabel (from Thomas and friends). I love these names, they fit perfect!!

My little farm girl was all about the goats!!!
My little Dude warmed up to them, faster then I thought he would! :)
(Clarabel is under the table)

We had a wonderful time with these 20 HOUR OLD GOATS! But we loved them all!
