Good Chickie Day!!!

Chickens are in the COOP WOOT WOOT!!!!(this happened last week, just getting around to post)
You know how everyone says..... Make sure your coop is ready BEFORE you get your chickies??
They were right!! Do I listen NO!! After lots of coop plan changes, having to expand our brooder and add a temporary out door pen (for daytime play). OUR COOP IS FINISHED!!! Well finished enough, one door still needs to be hung. The ramp needs to be adjusted and we are adding wood ash to the bedding. Plus we still have to add nesting boxes and a better perch (can't see in photos). Its a work in progress but the chickies are happy and safe with PLENTY of room! WIN :)

I let them adjust to the chickie house for a day and night before letting them in the run! Lucy who I think is actually a Luis (the brave buff orpington at 6 weeks) came right out!!

 

Took the babies a little longer to come out but when they did they loved it!!

 

Lily is the flock boss and is always the first to greet me.
She is a good girl!!
