The next 5 (Baby silkies)

  I have been obsessing over the silkie breed of chickens! They are what made me decide not to wait anymore and just start my first flock. Tori Spelling has one named coco, she calls them the poodle of chickens. I fell under the silkie spell, thanks spelling.....I Love my silkies!!! I didn't really want order from a hatchery if I could avoid it because shipping day old chicks seems kinda sad to me. I had planned on just starting with 2 silkies, I started looking for breeders that weren't to far from home. Spoke with a few and found one not far from me, nicest lady (ever) and she had some gorgeous chickens!! She has a 4 chick minimum and gave me a bonus chick. So My Lodianna flock is now up to 7 and will stay at 7..... for now at least :) Here they are at 12 hours old!!
